Mr. Lars Davidsson
I am a consultant general adult psychiatrist who have been employed by the South Essex Partnership Foundation Trust since the beginning of November 2001 in a substantive post. Before that I was a substantive consultant at the University Hospital of Lund, Sweden for about 15 years. I am a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists as well as an elected member of The Association of European Psychiatrists where I am also a member of a special interest group of transcultural psychiatry. I have during the last six years written about 300 reports both in criminal and civil matters.
I have been working on behalf of the Swedish government in post war Bosnia and I have since then taken a special interest in transcultural psychiatry and trauma psychology. I am usually able to provide an appointment within two weeks and the report can usually be delivered within four weeks after recieving instructions.
